Little Bares STEM Club is where technology sparks your imagination! In Little Bares, you can become a tech wizard, a coding genius, and a digital superhero, all in one.
Imagine designing your own video games, where you can bring characters to life and control every aspect of their incredible adventures. In Little Bares you can also become a master of robotics, crafting your very own intelligent machines that can follow your every command. (Don’t worry! We also have robot recipes to learn how to code with!)
Our hope is that Little Bare Tech Club will become a community of young tech enthusiasts just like you. Together, we'll take on exciting challenges, collaborate on projects, and even participate in thrilling competitions where your skills will be put to the ultimate test!
Little Bares started in Fall of 2022 and has had starts and stops as we've tried to find an audience of young learners. In the summer of 2023 we had approximately four children join (with one continuing through the school year!)
Our meeting times are flexible (especially during the summer as the leader is on break too!) and kids are welcome to try it out whenever, simply shoot us a message and we'll coordinate a time. We generally meet in the Como Rec Hall.
What we learn is up to you! Depending on the age and interest of your child we can vary the activities to suit their interest and ability.
There is no charge. Parents and guardians are welcome, but are not required, to participate.
About the Leader: 20+ years teaching (grades K-8) , parent to 4 (now grown) children, and Como member for over 10 years.
While Little Bares meets at Lake Como, we are not officially a program run by or sponsored by Lake Como. Lake Como graciously allows us to use their facilities to meet. Any questions about Little Bares should be submitted here.
We believe the nudist lifestyle is a wholesome and healthy way to raise a family. If you are curious about learning more; we invite you to reach out to us.
If you have a son or daughter who would is interested in joining the STEM Club and you'd like to learn more, let us know by sending us a message.
